Supported Operating Systems for Agents
The following operating systems are supported for the Privilege Control Agent and the Platform Agent.

Platform Agent Supported Operating Systems and System Requirements
This feature is currently available only to customers participating in a Private Preview. If you'd like to participate and be among the first to try this feature, ask our support or account team for details.
The following table provides details about the hardware and other system requirements for the server where the Platform Agent is installed when you are using PCS with the Platform Agent. For more information about this agent, see Privilege Control Agent and Platform Agent.

| CPU |
x86-64 based processors at 2.5 GHz or higher, with two or more cores, are recommended for production use. |
| Memory | 2 GB+ RAM |
| Storage | 500 MB or more recommended for installation and run-time needs. Logging retention may increase the storage requirements. |
| Ports | Port 443 (outbound only) must be open for the Delinea Engine to send encrypted information to the platform. |
| PowerShell | When using PowerShell, version 7.3 is recommended for optimal performance. Version 5.1 may result in lower performance. |
| Installation Location | Platform Agents cannot be installed on machines running the Delinea Engine. |
| Service Account | The Platform Agent service must run as Local System. |

Note 1: UNIX operating systems are not supported for the Platform Agent, only for the Privilege Control Agent.
Note 2: TL1 or above on AIX 7.1 is required.
Note 3: OS patch level update 8 or above on Solaris 10 is required.
Note 4: Smart Card doesn’t work on Ubuntu Linux 24.04 due to a GNOME bug (#7562).
You should follow the OS vendors' recommendation to update the necessary patches. The minimum patch requirements for the specific UNIX platforms are as follows (CS-45562):
