Customizing NIS Configuration Parameters

This section describes the configuration parameters that affect the operation of the IBM Security Network Information Service on the local host computer. The IBM Security Network Information Service—- adnisd -— provides a mechanism for responding to NIS client requests from computers not managed by a Verify Privilege Server Suite Agent.
